I offer client-centred, relational therapy to individuals that is psychodynamic and trauma-informed.

My practice is informed by a range of evidence-based approaches including mindfulness principles, attachment theory and neurobiology.

In our work together, we start with whatever is troubling you. We will pay close attention to the ways in which your relationships, both past and present, function. We will be curious about what comes up in the present moment, unearth unconscious tendencies, and take note of the ways in which long-standing behavioural patterns and coping strategies may no longer be serving you. We will also tune into any sensations in the body and notice what comes up. Attending to the mind-body connection can play a powerful role in helping ground you especially when symptoms of anxiety are present.

As your therapist, I am warm, curious, non-judgemental, empathic and direct. My approach is collaborative and client-centred as I operate from the principle that you are the expert in your own life. I aim to meet you exactly where you are, tailoring all therapy sessions to meet your particular and evolving needs and goals.

While the therapeutic process can be hard, it can also be incredibly rewarding!

I am conscious of the ways that systemic oppression, marginalization, and racism impact mental health, and I operate from an anti-oppressive, feminist framework. My practice embraces all genders, sexual orientations and is queer, trans and non-binary positive; everyone is welcome. I enjoy working with individuals on a wide range of psychological and emotional issues and bring to my therapeutic practice extensive experience working with 2SLGBTQ+ identified folks, artists & creatives, educators & academics, millennials, students, and older adults navigating complex issues.
