Stephanie Markowitz is a Toronto-based filmmaker, performer, and adult educator. She has independently produced and directed over 20 short films, music videos and theatre productions. Her performance art practice with feminist art rock band VAG HALEN has taken her to venues and stages internationally including the Venice Biennale and the Bournemouth Arts Festival in the UK. Stephanie completed her M.Ed. degree at the University of Toronto and is currently a freelance program designer, facilitator.
